Privacy Policy
txtpod Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how txtpod collects, uses, and protects information when you use the app and its related services. txtpod only accesses data needed to provide app features, purchases, analytics, crash reporting, account sync, and optional integrations you choose to enable. If a feature requires access to Apple services or device permissions, txtpod only uses that data after you grant permission.
Shared data
txtpod uses RevenueCat to collect anonymous device and purchase data so the app can determine whether a user has previously bought products inside the app and provide the correct access.
txtpod also collects analytics and crash reports to understand which features are used and where the app is breaking. Crash reporting is handled through Sentry. This data is aggregated only, never sold, and never shared with third parties for advertising or data brokerage.
Account and app data
txtpod stores information needed to run your account in Google Cloud. This can include your profile information, podcast settings, generated podcast episodes, saved article and episode metadata, and news preferences.
You can permanently delete your account and associated txtpod data from the app. When you delete your account, txtpod deletes the profile, podcast episodes, generated content, and saved preferences tied to that account.
